If you're struggling with body composition but aren't overweight...

The issue is probably that you don't have enough muscle mass comparatively to your body fat.

You can be a healthy weight and still be at a higher body fat than you'd like if you don't have enough muscle mass.

The way to change this is NOT trying to diet and do cardio. This will only cause you to continue to lose weight, which won't necessarily change your body fat percentage. You'll just continue to become a smaller version of the "skinny fat" look you already have.

So here are the 3 things that you SHOULD do:

🔑Focus on building muscle before losing body fat

🔑Do strength training over cardio

🔑Eat 1g of protein per lb of body weight

If you do these 3 things, you will build lean muscle which may alone solve the problem. OR, you can then successfully try to lose weight and actually have the muscle underneath to create a different body comp!
