Easy apple pie donut pastries — just 5 ingredients! 🍏 You'll get all of the cozy flavors of an apple pie, but these are way easier to put together. The cinnamon sugar & butter are the perfect fall combination, and the bite-sized rings are also convenient to share or bring to a party.

Tip: Make sure you check the puff pastry instructions ahead of time -- you may need to let it defrost for a bit before using it.

Ingredients:

— apples

— cinnamon & sugar mixture

— melted butter

— puff pastry dough

how-to:

1. Slice the apple and cut a circle through the core -- you want this to be big enough that you can easily wrap around strips of pastry dough.

2. Dip and coat both sides with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

3. Slice thin strips of dough, and wrap around the edges.

4. Coat with melted butter and more cinnamon sugar.

5. Bake according to the puff pastry package instructions.
