best viet food in sg — affordable & authentic 🇻🇳🌟

I’m so happy to find this place, it’s the best viet food I tried in SG!! Ăn Là Ghiền-Cơm Niêu is located 4 mins from Chinatown MRT, and they serve authentic & affordable Vietnamese food.

What we ordered:

★ claypot rice set $19.90

This set is SO WORTH ITTTT. It comes with sweet & sour shrimp soup, grilled pork chop, stir fried pork stripe w veggies & claypot rice! We thought this was for one but we were so shocked at the portion, I think this is for 2!

★ bun cha hà nội $9.90

This is my fav Vietnamese dish 🥹. They gave sooo much bun (noodles) I was so shocked 🤣. I tried many bun cha in SG & I can say this one is rlyyy authentic, I loved it so much!!

★ coconut milk snails $9.90

Snails are a huge delicacy in Vietnam & there’s so many different types of snails but this is my fav type!! I was so happy to see this on the menu, I couldn’t really find this in other Viet restaurants in SG. The coconut milk is so fragrant & the lemongrass complements the flavour. Eating this is so fun, you need to suck the “meat” out of the shell.

We got 3 drinks & the total was only $48 for 2 of us 🥹🤯. That’s super affordable considering the amount of food we got!!

I love the vibe of this place, their chairs & tables are low to the ground, just like the little chairs you sit on in Vietnam!! Their menu is also super extensive. They have all the viet food you can think of and also seafood & hotpot!

🌟 Everything was a 10/10, the taste is so authentic it’s making me miss Vietnam!! My bf is half-Vietnamese & he approves!!! He also agrees that this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in SG. We’re gonna come back here every time we crave for Viet food! 🥰
