Iβve always had my pho at Co Chung Plaza Sing Branch but this time we tried the rice and vermicelli options at their other branch at Boat Quay and DAAMMN, they were even better! At ~$15 price range for mains in the heart of CBD with great ambience, itβs quite a steal β¦
Why Co Chung is my favourite spot for Viet Foodπ
- They say fish sauceπ is the soul of Vietnamese dishes. I get it now β¦ their special in-house fish dipping sauce ties the dish together perfectly. Drench your carbs with the sauce for a savoury and sweet umami flavour!
- Very generous portions of β¨well-grilledβ¨ meat! Looked quite unassuming but they were more flavourful than how they looked
- Much more authentic compared to other Vietnamese chains in SG
The ambience is definitely better than the one at Plaza Singapura - less crowded, vibey outdoor seating with chill music from the surrounding bars, itβs an experience by itself!
