YOU NEED THIS BEFORE TRAVELLING!!

Hi Lemon8 fam! So for my recent Phuket trip I brought quite a few things but there’s this ONE thing that really saved me, it’s not expensive at all and ANYONE can use it and it’s this Water Filter Shower Head I got from Shopee (I’ll link it in the comments I realised now it’s on sales!!)

Ok so we all know SG is known for having one of the cleanest water and we are so pampered by it so I was a bit worried about the water quality in other countries. Then I saw this product and went to do some research like is it really necessary? Does it really work? Etc etc. And a lot of the reviews I saw online all said this is a holy grail item to bring for travelling so I decided to give it a try. Some of the reviews really showed a super yellow and brownish water filter after like a week and I honestly doubted it like can it be that bad? So I brought just 2 clean filters for my 5D4N trip thinking it’ll be more than enough but boy I REGRETTED IT 🥲

I was SO SHOCKED at how dirty the filter became after the first TWO nights (first photo) just look at the comparison with the clean one?? It was worse than all the reviews I’ve seen the water quality is so scary 💀 And esp for a person like me who has the habit of brushing my teeth in the shower… I just can’t imagine not having this filter 🤮 But if you thought that’s the worst, you’re wrong. The second photo was the new filter after just ONE NIGHT. TWO SHOWERS. At first I thought maybe the water was that dirty cuz the first two nights I stayed at a cheap hotel but the third night it was a nice hotel yet the water was even dirtier?? I thought about it and concluded that it was probably because the second hotel was on the hill so the water is more muddy idk..? But I really regretted only bringing two filters man if I knew I would have brought one for each day 😭

After I came back I started being a bit paranoid about the water so I continued using this shower head in SG. And surprisingly the filter still turned yellow?? But it was like wayyyy better than in Phuket lah it was yellowish after a week-ish? So I went to stock up a lot more filters since they are really not expensive (5 for $4.80 during sales) given how useful they are and how much safer I feel after using them.

You’ll needa get the shower head ($7.50) which comes with 1 filter. I feel the shower head is pretty nice, it’s big enough to give enough water when I shower but not heavy or too bulky so it’s great for travelling. And there 3 modes (3rd - 5th photo) for you to choose from according to your preferences. What you needa do is just to detach the hotel’s shower head from the tube thingy then attach your own one and that’s it! Changing the filter is easy too you just detach the head, give it a pop and the old filter will fall off and you can insert the new filter! Getting the shower head + the set of 5 filters is actually cheaper (total $11.50)

I told my bf’s mum about the shower head after we came back and she asked me to help her but a few cuz she wanna use at home and even give to her parents 😂 But yes this really is one product that very pleasantly surprised and I think everyone, ESPECIALLY all you people who love travelling will need. Y’all can thank me later 🤣
