Things to do in Pismo Beach!!

Pismo will always have a special place in my heart! Growing up right next to it I have discovered so many hidden gems that make the town so unique!

Pismo beach is right in the middle of San Francisco and Los Angeles, so no wonder it’s a popular spot for tourists to stop by! Here are some of my favorite parts of Pismo Beach:

• old west cinnamon rolls — the best cinnamon rolls in the whole world!

• hiking — pismo has some of the most beautiful hikes! Some tucked away in the hills and some right above the ocean!

• surfing — even if you are a beginner, pismo has great waves that are easy to pick up on if it’s your first time on a surfboard!

• bowling — downtown pismo has a cute historic bowling alley that never gets old!

•the pier — walking on the pismo pier is an experience in itself! They have a big neon ‘pismo beach’ sign that’s great for photos!

• Avila valley barn — the Avila barn is a little outside of pismo, and it’s a great spot for people of all ages! Make sure you stop by in the fall to feed the animals, pick pumpkins and try some of their delicious pies!

• car show — every year around Father’s Day weekend, pismo hosts a huge car show with all kinds of cool and unique cars!

• 4th of July fireworks — every year on 4th of July, pismo beach holds a large firework show right on the beach! People come from all over to sit on the beach and watch the fireworks right over the ocean!
