Getting Real About Prepping for Surgery

Let’s get real about the exciting parts regarding prepping for a surgery.

I recently got a breast augmentation, and I can already tell it is the best decision I ever made! (More to come on that once I am fully recovered)

The day before surgery, I wanted to make sure I had everything settled and prepared since I was waking up so early (4:30am to be exact!!!😴).

Instead of discussing the medicines and all the boring things, let’s talk about the exciting parts about prepping.

First, I soaked in the last bit of sun before I was unable to sit in the sun the rest of the summer. Next, I decided to get the yummiest and biggest ice cream sundae from my favorite ice cream shop - not pictured: the hot fudge on the side. Then, I made sure I finished up any of my work tasks and set up my out of office email. Lastly, I made sure to choose the COZIEST pair of sweats for the big day.

When prepping for something like this, make sure to focus on the positives instead of the negatives, it will truly change everything! Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to recover 😊
