Quitting my 9-5

What I wish I knew before quitting my 9-5:

• it’ll take time to get used to inconsistent pay

• you’ll work more hours than before, but it’ll be for building your dreams instead of someone else’s

• your friends, family, and those close to you may not fully understand why you are leaving stability. It’s okay, they don’t need to.

• Fridays and weekends won’t feel like freedom anymore. Every day can be a day off if you want it to be, the struggle is getting comfortable with taking time off at all. Say goodbye to that TGIF feeling!

With all that being said, this has been the best experience of my life. The highs are extremely high, and the lows are pretty low- and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
