This slow cooker recipe is so delicious and easy to make as you’re just throwing everything in a slow cooker and letting it cook on its own! It also makes great leftovers and can be served 2 different ways: strained to make tacos OR left as is to make soup! 🌮
🫑 RECIPE:
- 2 antibiotic-free, hormone free chicken breasts
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 white onions
- 16 oz chunky salsa or diced tomatoes
- Siete foods mild seasoning spices
- 8 oz vegetable broth
- salt and pepper (to season chicken)
🫑 INSTRUCTIONS:
- dice onions and cut bell peppers
- put chicken in crockpot and season with salt and pepper
- add onions, peppers, salsa, broth, and spices
- cook on high for 2 1/2 hours
- shred chicken with forks
- for tacos, strain some of the liquid and serve over warm tortillas with fresh cilantro
- for soup, scoop into desired container and garnish with fresh cilantro
