1. bring a pot of water to a boil. season with a pinch of salt. you could generously salt the water if you like.

2. grate or you can buy 1-1 1/2 cups of parmesan.

3. add 200g of linguine into the boiling water, stirring occasionally. cook until 70% cooked through.

4. season 1 lb shrimp with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1 tsp paprika. you can season however you like.

5. sear the shrimp in a hot pan with oil for 1-2 minutes and set aside. do not fully cook them.

6. into the same pan, add 1/3 cup butter, 10 cloves minced garlic, and 1/2 tbsp chili flakes. cook for 30 seconds.

7. add 4 oz white wine to deglaze the pan. cook down for 1 minute.

8. add 1 tbsp lemon juice and a little lemon zest.

9. add the linguine that has been 70% cooked through. make sure not to overcook cus it will continue cooking in the pan.

10. add 1 cup salted pasta water, and the grated parmesan.

11. cook over high heat until sauce thickens and is creamy. top with parsley.
