DONT GET NAIL EXTENSIONS!!? 💅🏼

All you need to know about stick on nail extensions before you get them!! 💅🏼🤍 do yourself a favour and 👏🏽read this👏🏽before buying a DIY stick on set for yourself:

Application process:

• TBH this part is REALLY easy. I prefer the nail glue method because it is much longer lasting.

• If you use the nail pasties, they last for like 3 seconds 😔 Or even shorter if you’re a careless girl like me.

• With the nail glue, you just have to squeeze it on to the fake nail and hold it to your own cleaned nail for about 10-15s and it will stick on well! took abt 15 mins to do my nails including prepping and pasting 👏🏽

Price:

• This set i got from Vietnam was about $16 SGD? Would say it is pretty affordable compared to going to a salon, BUT BUT BUT the longevity is really WAYYY shorter 🥺😤

Why I dont like it:

• These nails really don’t last. Even with the nail glue, once you shower, scrub your hair or scratch your back, they pop out. Especially with water contact, they wont last at all! 😤

• In addition, caring for the nails are TOUGH. Day to day things become so much harder, like flipping my socks, wearing my dunks or searching for stuff from my bag🦯

Tips:

• I personally recommend bringing a nail glue where-ever you go in ur purse, so that if your nail falls out you can always stick them back😝

• Despite all these cons, i would say having these stick on nails are great for short term photoshoots or events🥳

Final thoughts?

I still prefer getting my nails professionally done with hardgel rather than stick ons. They are just sooo much more durable! Check out my fav nail shops and nail design inspos here!
