nail nightmare😥 worst nail tech?🤔

Never in my entire life of doing my nails did i encounter such a nail tech and incident!!🥲 YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW PAINFUL IT WAS😭It’s been 2 weeks and it’s still healing…

It’s my second time choosing a home based nail salon. My first was great! but it was too far for me!

The first time I did my nails with her it was alright! All went well, and pretty affordable and i really loved the design! There were reviews of her on her IG where people loved the design she did! Which i kinda agree too!

Here comes the nail tech nightmare part!

1. On both appointments I had with her she delayed and pushed my appointment back by 1h. On the first appt, she asked for me to wait downstairs for 30min. She has a kid to take care of so I waited and I was okay with waiting. On the second appt, she pushed my appt back by 1h as she was doing another client’s nail. Well, at least she informed me before I left my house, about 1h before.

2. On my first appt, not sure why her gel polish didn’t dry and it was cracking a lot. So she had to keep redoing for me.

3. I did extensions for 3-4 of my broken nail. It was well placed. However, there were a lot of thick glue between my nail and the extension.

4. She filed and removed the gelish so much it was so thin!!

5. When she over-buffed my nail and it started bleeding she tried to hide it at first. But i found that it was hurting so much and saw that it was bleeding. She kept apologizing but didn’t apologize once again thru text after I left. She told me it was the first time she encountered such a problem and told me that I should put overlay! OVERLAY OVER MY BROKEN AND BLEEDING NAIL?!?!? But eventually I told her I should let my nails breathe and rest so I left without my nails done.

6. I paid a deposit of $10 for the appt. She told me she wouldn’t charge me for this appt and will carry forward if i booked a third appt with her. Which I did at first but subsequently cancelled and she didn’t even offer to refund me my deposit, even after such an accident.

7. She offered to give me $2 off overlay after my nails were bleeding. She said original was $10 and she would charge me at $8! but I checked her IG price list and it’s $8:”

All in all i guess it’s really 一分钱一分货 (you pay for what you get) My nail is still healing and it’s super thin and weak, it easily chips. Not trying to shame her or bring her down and i just wanted to share my experience! 🥲
