Yaowarat Buns in SG?! Not BKK 🤷‍♀️

I stumbled across this shop selling yaowarat bread buns similar to BKK’s famous buns. Pretty sure i’ve heard about them before as eatbook has an article on it, but i never thought to go try it till today, since i was in the area!

It’s located about 5-7mins away from Bishan MRT, nestled along the many different shops.

I ordered the Milky Milk Bun & Pandan Kaya Bun. The sauces in the bun wasn’t exactly the same as BKK’s buns but it’s not too bad! The buns used aren’t the same too, these are a little harder but no complains. They added lots of butter, you could taste it! For someone who lovesssss butter, this is a plus point for me. Yes, of course this will be sweet but surprisingly it’s not CRAZY CRAZY

sweet probably thanks to the butter! I would love to head back soon to try out their other flavours when im craving for a little sweet treat :) plus, they sell drinks there too if you’re thirsty or looking for something to quench your thirst in the SG HEAT 🔥
