When I first started meditating, I thought that I was supposed to feel “nothing” or see “nothing” and that all worry would just melt away. In reality, meditation is more of sacred ground. It’s a place that allows me to release, reflect, and re-center. Though I felt less full/distracted, the real gift was in resilience. By working out my inner-calm muscle, I found freedom and peace in meditation.

The goal of my mediation practice is like a spiritual bath. It helps me press reset, balance my energy, and recenter so that you can show up your best self in body and mind! Meditation outside specifically allows me to ground myself — feel more present, aware, and connectedto the current moment!

3️⃣ TIPS that really help you lock in during meditation:

🎧Try noise canceling headphones if you’re in a safe environment.

🌳Try meditating outside at a park or near water.

✨Before you begin, set an intention for how you hope to feel at the end of your meditation. Be open to releasing what comes up to come out.
