A way to elevate your minimal outfit - accessorize!

If you’re like me and like to dress casual with basic tops/bottoms/dresses, accessorizing is so important to make your outfit pop! Personally, I love gold jewellery because my skin tone is towards the darker side. You can also accessorise with rose gold/silver, whichever suits your skin tone best :)

I’ve been wearing these pieces everyday in Bali to swim and it hasn’t tarnished yet! There’s a mix of high end to affordable options that I’m wearing.

I’m sure the Taobao pieces will tarnish after a few more wears in the pool/ocean as I was only in Bali for 4.5 days. I’ve been increasingly drawn towards high quality pieces because they can last you a really long time and you can wear to swim/bathe everyday and it will not tarnish. But of course, the price is expensive too! 😭 If you know of any affordable and high quality pieces do help a girl out!

Taobao is always a good option for really cheap accessories. My gold hoops were $4.50 and pearl choker was $6.20. Paired my pearl choker with the J initial necklace from madedifferentco which came in adjustable length.

I’ve been obsessed with this ring combi from Linjer, very minimal yet sophisticated. Linjer is a female founded brand which sells high quality product and uses recycled material which are made to last. Their prices are in the hundreds range and are worth the investment.
