this is your sign to stop doom scrolling

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but your time is so precious- don’t waste it on doomscrolling your life away.

I didn’t think I had an addiction to my phone until I tried a dopamine detox this summer. I mean an addiction is serious and I felt like I could be without my phone if I wanted to. Right? Well, I was wrong… 🙅‍♀️

I mean if you think about it, we use our phones every second of the day- when we watch a video while eating food, when we listen to a podcast in the car, when we listen to music at the gym- we are constantly being fed quick dopamine hits. So, when I was on my detox, everything was just silent, and kind of boring.🔇

It was crazy because It felt weird doing all of my daily tasks without something playing in the background. But it took me that moment for me to realize we don’t need to be hearing noise all the time and silence is okay!! That is when I told myself I need to lock in and use every second of my time wisely, because our time is valuable. 🙌

Now, instead of doom scrolling 📲 right when I wake up, I am learning the principles of day trading 📈 so I can set myself up for financial success.

I would strongly recommend a technology detox as it could help you a ton!!
