The template I use to level up my relationship 😘

My partner & I recently started a weekly initiative called a Big Life Meeting.

The whole purpose of this is so that we feel like a team in life, which makes us happier in our relationship ❤️

We were actually inspired by a post on X (formerly Twitter), but modified the template to suit our preferences.

I wanted to share with y’all the template we’re using—be sure to SAVE this if a happier relationship sounds like a great idea 😜

1️⃣ Appreciation

1 specific thing that we appreciated about each other this week and why? ❤️

2️⃣ Events scheduling 📆

▪️ Are there any upcoming events (social, family, work, travel etc) for the week or month that we need to know about?

▪️ Plan out specific days for the week’s joint activities e.g. physical activities, dates

3️⃣ Chores / admin

Are there any chores / admin that need to be dealt with for the week?

E.g. of recent stuff we had to deal with included a mould problem (horror story here 🤢), a coffee machine that needed descaling and dental appointments that needed scheduling #AdultingWoes

4️⃣ Work / professional stuff

▪️Projects / tasks that we’ll be busy with for the week (and if they might spill into couple time)

▪️Any tasks that we require each other’s help

5️⃣ Financial review 💰💰

▪️ Any big money movements (inflow / outflow) to note?

▪️ How are income-generating initiatives coming along?

▪️ How are we doing on the expenditure front? This is the tracking app that we use.

6️⃣ Gratitude 

We close off the session on a high note with gratitude:

▪️ What is 1 thing we're grateful for about each other that makes us continue to love each other for (to get each other to continue the behavior)

▪️ This can also be directed towards life / work / other people etc as well
