⭐️⭐️/5 Genre: Contemporary Romance

I know I’m in the minority when I say The Pumpkin Spice Cafe is way too overhyped.

Based on the videos and posts I’ve seen, I expected this to be super autumnal and well written. It ended up being mildly autumnal in certain parts and very basic writing accompanied by a shallow plot.

I don’t like to be a downer so I want to make it known that there were parts to this book I enjoyed, such as the book club characters and the humor.

I plan to read more books in the Dream Harbor series, as I enjoyed the side characters of this book more than the main characters.

I would recommend this for someone looking for a very basic romance novel with a pretty cover.
