Genre: Sad Romance

Intro: It’s about a girl, Libby, that has weight issues/ eating disorders and she is finally going to school for the first time in YEARS. She gets bullied by classmates and she meets this boy, Jack. Jack has Prosopagnosia which basically means he can’t recognize people’s faces with names (however he can recognize animals, places, and objects). He never actually tells anyone.. until he meets Libby.

My rating: 3/5 ⭐️

My review: It’s cute and all, a little bit medium paced, but I felt like it’s a little dragged out. It took me a day to finish from start to finish so it’s not bad of a book. I wouldn’t necessarily say that it’s a enemies to lovers because they didn’t really hate each other, Libby disliked Jack but not the extent that I felt like they were enemies. I wished I would’ve read this book when I was in freshman or sophomore year (knowing me I probably wouldn’t have read it though because I just now picked up the hobby).

⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️ (don’t read unless you wanna be spoiled): I loved the concept of the fact that he cannot see her weight. Like obviously he could but he kept 3 notes of what people look like (hair color, eyes, small imperfections on the face like a mole) to remember what they look like. When he realized that he thought that he could only recognize her by weight, he broke it off because he felt like it was the best thing to do for her, since she was trying to loose weight. At first I was like “bro wth you’re leaving her because you think you know her based on her body? And not her face? That makes no sense” and I was soooooo pissed at Jack. AND THEN later he told her “hey I don’t see your weight, I never did, I love you.” Like okay Jack I’m not angry at you anymore. Just me? But also Jack was just way too cute holding her hand, flirting, taking her for her first dance, being protective. Like their relationship is just sooo cute!! And also Jack snuck into her house when she got hulled by a crane to the hospital? For what reason did you have to write into one of her books and mail it to her? AND KEEP A OHIO MAGNET?? WHAT?? WHAT A WEIRDOOO!! 💀
