Baby toys are a SCAM!

People!!!!

BABIES DONT PLAY WITH TOYS!

They really don’t!

With my first two kids I thought maybe they were just unique in their unwillingness to play with toys, but the more I talked to other moms the more I realized it’s a universal fact! Kids under the age of 2 years old generally don’t really play with toys!

My first born son’s favorite toys to play with consisted of cooking pots and pans and kitchen utensils, along with anything remotely dangerous and chewing on our shoes.

Seriously.

Not only did I get better at putting certain items out of arms reach, but I also learned that all of the toys I had bought for my newborn were completely useless, and that he would much rather be given a metal bowl in a few measuring cups to play with!

After having my second born, I gave up and completely donated all of the baby toys we had. Now that my boys are a little older, they love playing with certain toys like kinetic sand and magnet tiles.

But I’m not buying any toys for my newborn, knowing it’s going to be a complete waste of money and space!
