Your Next Food Obsession Awaits at JB! 🤤

Hey friends 🍋! Looking for a cozy spot in Johor Bahru to indulge in delicious food? Sevenoaks Cafe might just be your new favorite. This charming cafe offers a spacious and clean environment, perfect for a relaxed meal.

While I did encounter a minor hiccup with the washroom (no toilet paper!), the food more than made up for it. Let's talk about the star of the show: the Creamy Curry Pasta. 🍝This dish was a delightful surprise, with a rich and flavorful curry sauce that was surprisingly comforting. It's a must-try for curry lovers!

Other standout dishes included the bagel 🥯 with smoked salmon and the truffle fries. The bagel had a satisfying crunch on the outside and a chewy interior, while the truffle fries were perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying (maybe just a tad salty when you have too much).

Now, for a minor critique: the Chick N' Waffle. While the waffle itself was delicious, the chicken lacked a strong salted egg flavor (deceiving appearance I would say HAHAHA). Additionally, the waffle had a higher sweetness level than I prefer. There were so much sugar chunks in the waffle🧇 … I would say it really added a nice texture to the waffle but you could literally see the chunks and it’s slightly gelak and overwhelming for me. However, this might be a personal preference, as my partner enjoyed it.

Moving on to drinks, the matcha 🍵 was a delightful treat, with a rich and authentic flavor. The tiramisu cheesecake, while sweet, could have benefited from a stronger tiramisu taste.

Overall, Sevenoaks Cafe is definitely worth a visit. With its delicious food and cozy atmosphere, it's a gem in JB and I would totally return to try other nomz (have some ongoing membership deal too)!!

Bonus 🌟: Have you tried Moonlight Cake House? This premium bakery offers a wide variety of cakes and baked goods. If you're a nut lover, their T-dark Chia Grain Bread 🍞 is a must-try (cannot vouch for the other breads but they all look pretty yums) !!! The T-dark Chia Grain Bread is only 7.3 ringgit which is only $2+ sgd but damn it’s HUGE! Not to mention how soft and chewy the bun is and bruh it’s loaded with ingredients…🤤🤤🤤
