The four book series follows the young Audrey Rose Wadsworth. She’s dreams not of weddings and children but of a career in forensic science. While training with her uncle on how to read corpses bodies she gets wrapped up in a gruesome case. The case of the famous serial killer Jack the Ripper. She reluctantly work with Thomas Cresswell another cocky student in forensic science to solve this mystery.

I read this series soooo fast. It was just addicting. The aesthetic of the 1800 London and all of the mysteries had me in a chokehold. I loved trying to piece together the mystery alongside the characters. Speaking of characters Audrey Rose and Thomas are so fun to follow. They have great banter and sweet soft moments.
