should YOU dine at Butchers’ Block?

It was a my friend’s birthday, and he really loves steak, i really wanted a nice atmosphere, and after viewing places, i landed on Butcher’s block! Its a 3mins walk away from CHIJMES, and located at Raffles hotel. Here is my experience there~

The bread and butter was great, we were served 3 different types of bread with seaweed butter. One of the bread pieces were abit tough, but other then that, it was fine!

I am a hugeeeee fan of oysters, so i really enjoyed this dish. I really love the plating of this, and the cavier & sauce accompanied with it is just 💯💯💯

🦆Dry-aged duck

This dish was really delicious, but i took away 2 stars as there were quite an amount of fats on it. I do know of friends who dont eat them, so i felt like it wasnt like mind-blowing!

🥩Australian living stone tenderloin

The main course! In medium rare, it was amazing~ it is the star of the show after all! When we first entered, there were slabs of meat just hanged on the wall, so expect the highest for them! You need to order this.

Overall, the fine dining experience was great, and in total it was about $380! Was it worth it? I would honestly say no….. but for the experience, yep!!
