today let’s talk working with your chronotype. a few months ago I got an Oura ring. one of the sections of data within the Oura ring was what your chronotype was. I had realized pretty recently that I’m a LOT more productive in the morning and mid afternoon, but once about 3pm hits I prefer to have all of my brain powered tasks out of the way if possible.

chronotypes are defined as natural preferences of the body for wakefulness and sleep. this varies from person to person and being able to schedule different activities or projects around your chronotype can help with productivity and rest. my chronotype is “the lion” which means that I tend to go to bed early, wake up early, and am most productive mid morning. knowing this, I can try my best to schedule larger tasks mid morning.
