classes that helped me for med school!!

There’s no way to feel 100% for med school. That’s the honest truth. But there are a few classes I took in undergrad that helped me a bunch for my first year of med school.

The first class was anatomy and physiology!! The anatomy part I definitely forgot haha but the physiology has come up in almost every single block. That class was extremely high yield and I definitely think that it should be a pre-req instead of something like organic chemistry haha.

The next super helpful class was cell and tissue biology! This comes up in almost every block because a lot of diseases work on the molecular level so having a baseline knowledge on this was key!

Lastly biochem!!! Med school isnt that heavy on chemistry in general but it is super heavy on biochemistry. We had a separate biochem class but biochemistry also comes into play in a lot of other classes as well! Hi kreb cycle!!
