under-the-radar cafe in the heart of Chinatown

this cafe is now one of my fav go-to places for brunch because not only the food & coffee are good, they are also really affordable!!

what I ordered:

1. avocado on toast ($14)

really generous serving of smoked salmon and the toast was so nicely crispy!!

2. omelette “crepe” ($15)

love the combination of textures, from the thin crepe-like omelette to the chewy smoked salmon and creamy avocado and wilted spinach. flavours were well balanced, with savouriness coming mainly from the smoked salmon and spinach and sweetness from the avocado.

3. ice latte ($6.60, +$0.60 as I opted for oat milk)

4. chai latte ($6.10, +$0.60 as I opted for oat milk)

📝: only walk-ins are allowed so it might be better to come on weekdays when it’s off-peak, do expect to wait if you’re coming down on a weekend!

recommended to sit outside as you’ll get a good view of the buddha relic temple & better lighting for photo taking

👍🏼: easily accessible by public transport (nearest MRT: chinatown)

nett prices so they are really affordable for a cafe in a central location

sanitising and mozzie spray provided at each table

can’t wait to be back to try out the other items on the menu ~
