Many people experience a tight upper back and have no idea how to properly stretch it.

It can be hard to really stretch the upper back, especially right between your shoulder blades, which is where many people experience tightness

One of my favorite stretches for this area is this first one.

To perform it you’re going to start on all fours, and then reach one arm across your body as far as you can.

While you reach you’re going to push your weight back into your hips and slightly back towards the side you’re reaching towards.

For the second stretch you’ll just need something to hold onto, a ledge or anything to grab onto works well for this.

Once you have a hold, you’re going to push your weight back into your hips, and make sure to feel your lats stretch out as you do so.

You can also play around by stretching to the left or to the right to intensify this stretch!
