REAL experience with Hammock Market

I always sold my clothes on carousell but to take pics and describe them? #NOTFORME . The Hammock market kindly invited and let a booth to me last weekend and it was such an eye opener! Bet you guys have heard about The Hammock Market and Aperia mall being the go-to mall for flea market, I’ll skip the technician parts and share w you my experience! 🤩

Here’s a quick summary of my experiences:

- booth space is pretty small, but enough for you to set up a cute booth.

- BRING AND PREPARE CASH! As much as it’s now a cashless era, most people still pay by cash. Bring some spare change along. If you’re doing E payments, you can print out your QR code. It’s cute and “professional” I put my number there and I received a handful of weird texts 😂 so at your own risks yknow!

- I was suprised almost 80% of people found clothes above $10 considered as expensive. (Some were still considering at $5!!) I totally understand because it’s supposed to be a flea market! So if you want to sell clothes, be prepared to get it sold for low prices! I was personally okay with this because if not for this flea, I would have donated those clothes away, so $5 was a steal for me. Ps I sold ALOT at $2!!

- Take care of your belongings!! as much as prices can get real cheap and affordable there, there are still people who tired to steal 😭 my friend and I caught TWO incidences but we did not made a fuss about it because.. yknow our mindset was to donate it anyway… but hello where are your morals???

- There were so many people with many different styles and it was such a feast for my eyes. I love to people watch and see how they dress up.

I would totally do this flea market again but maybe in one years time when my clothes pile uP HAHA for now, I’m just glad I cleared out 1/2 my wardrobe and getting about $200+ back for something I would have donated hehe look I’m adulting!
