Get a reliable breast pump. *Rants*

Recently during August I was introduced by a mummy friend on how convenient a hands free pump is and also as I’m returning back to work soon from my ML and will need one to pump at work.

I came across CUBBLE and purchased their C2+ version breast pump on shopee.

I must admit the suction and features works so well I love it so much at first.

However within a month, the motor began to turn faulty not once, not twice but thrice!

I absorbed the cost getting it replaced which cost me a bit by engaging courier and even to travel down with my baby which I regretted so much as I didn’t know it was a warehouse and it was so dusty and humid which I find it so inconvenient and uncomfortable for a newborn to be at, but also that was the only choice I have as they’re opened only during office hour therefore I can’t wait for my husband to be back to take over in babysitting.

I requested for a refund on shopee however seller was very firm in not refunding as they mentioned item has been used and also has a 6 months warranty. Well, within a month it has already spoilt thrice even after getting replacement so does that means that if it continues to spoil every week then I’ll have to travel down to their warehouse every week up to 6 months?

Furthermore I doubt that they replaced me with a new pump as its always the replaced pump that was faulty.

No apologise was made for the inconvenience instead they kept asking me to check on the duct as it might be torn or whatsoever but its been only a short while the duct is still perfectly fine. Anyway the issue is with the motor not the flow??

I always have a good amount of supply and also wish to breastfeed my baby as long as I can but to my horror I stressed when I monitored a slight drop in my supply due to this matter as I wasn’t able to pump as frequent when I’m not at home. I raised this matter to shopee but didn’t get a substitute pump immediately as I wasn’t sure if I’m able to get a refund and won’t wanna have two set of hands free pumps if I didn’t managed to get a refund.

Subsequently I still went ahead to purchased another brand before I managed to get a refund which took the longest time as I didn’t wanna drag any further as my supply is dropping and at the same time baby milk intake is increasing.

This is the worse experience I ever encountered with my purchase on shopee,

I hope breastfeeding mama’s out there wont have to go thru what I’ve gone thru.

A mother’s supply are so important for their babies, how can one be so apathetic.

Lastly to be fair, its a good pump IF there’s no faulty.
