What happened at my 6 week postpartum checkup ☕️☕️☕️

I made it, 6 weeks PP. I’m ready to start getting myself put back together 🤞

Here’s what to expect if you never been to a postpartum check:

✔️ you will take what is called an Edinburgh postnatal depression scale, where you will answer questions (hopefully truthfully!) this test is important and can help you especially if you have a history of mental health disorders.

✔️ your doctor may perform an exam of the lady bits depending on any medical complications or just a well check.

✔️ birth control options may be presented if you are interested on getting birth control.

Overall the postpartum check is super laid back and easy going, I’m just happy to be cleared to start doing things again!
