Some of my daily habits that help me live a happier and healthier life 🩷

1. Sky before screens - your body is wired to see sunlight in the morning (even if it’s cloudy outside) energy levels and focus are much better!

2. No caffeine for 90 mins - drinking caffeine right when you wake up messes up your natural natural cortisol rhythm, increases caffeine dependency and can actually cause you to feel more tired later in the day! Opt for a caffeine free tea or shilajit :)

3. First thing I put into my body is water and I add lemon and a pinch of Celtic sea salt -lemon jumpstarts your metabolism and aids digestion

Celtic sea salt- helps rehydrate your brain and cells (improved hydration will literally make your life so much better!)

4. Meal prep 80-90% of the food I eat - this helps me eat higher quality foods, save money and helps me meet my macro goals. Whenever I don’t meal prep I either don’t eat enough or eat things I shouldn’t be eating!

5. Optimizing sleep - if you want to improve your brain performance, mood and overall health then you NEED to sleep! Keep a sleep routine, avoid caffeine in the afternoon, Blue light glasses, 1-2 hour digital detox and no stressful activity before bed!

6. Walking every single day - whether outside or walking pad- getting more movement in the day will benefit you physically, mentally and emotionally!! 10k steps are ideal but start small and increase steps over time!

7. Exercising/ weight training 4-5 days a week - do I really have to list all the amazing benefits? I feel powerful and confident plus it makes you age like a fine wine.

8. Starting my day with prayer, meditation and reading Bible/devotional - because the days I miss this my days SUCK! This gives me peace, I used to wake up feeling so much anxiety and I thought that was normal (it’s not)🤍
