This is a super easy weeknight dinner! I prepped it before leaving and then had my husband pop it in the oven while my daughter was at dance, we came home to a tasty dinner, and even the 1 year old was going back for seconds! This recipe has good flavor but without the spice, making it kid approved.
Ingredients:
3 bell peppers finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1 lb flank steak cut int9 strips
2 tbsp. olive oil
homemade taco seasoning (recipe ⬇️) or use a taco seasoning packet #
homemade kid approved taco seasoning:
1 tsp Paprika ground
1 tsp Cumin ground
¼ tsp Oregano ground
¼ tsp Garlic Powder ground
¼ tsp Onion Powder ground
¼ tsp Chilli flakes (optional-I didn’t use)
¼ tsp Black pepper ground
¼ tsp Salt ground
Instructions:
Make homemade taco seating first.
Toss in onions, peppers & steak in gallon
zip lock bag or container add olive oil and shake or toss to coat, then had seasoning and combine , keep in fridge until ready to make.
When ready to make, heat oven to 400 degrees, cook on an aluminum foil rimmed baking sheet for 12-15 minutes then check it. Add more time if needed. Serve with favorite tortillas, sour cream, cilantro and a squeeze of lime. We also like to drizzle Sir Kensington Chile Lime Crema on top. So good.
