My Trip to Natra Bintan 🛥️🌻

Last weekend, I have the opportunity to spend my Christmas at Natra Bintan, a glamping resort with my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Sooo here’s day 1 of my experience 😙

⛴️ Bintan Ferry

My family arrived at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in the afternoon to travel to Bintan. Unfortunately, due to the strong waves, the ride was terrible 😵‍💫 The entire 1 hour felt like a roller coaster as the ferry went up and down 🌊 This caused a lot of people to puke, so if you have sea sickness, do prepare some motion sickness pills 💊

🏝️Going to the Resort

Upon arrival, we took a short bus ride using the the resort’s bus to travel to the location. When we first saw the venue, it was incredible 🤧 A huge body of crystal clear water spread across the land, filled with different activities 🫧🏖️This is known as Treasure Bay Lagoon, and it was absolutely beautiful 🫣

🛖 Our Stay

Throughout the 3 days 2 nights, we will be staying in a hut 🌿 My family booked a slightly bigger room for us to enjoy the amenities inside! One of it would be the “outdoor bathroom” where there is a little gap on the roof for sunlight to enter ☀️ It kind of made me a little insecure when showering but I got used to it eventually. && we got a private jacuzzi for us to enjoy 💦

🛝 Activities

After settling down, we went ahead to start our activities! We rented electric scooters to go around the place, it was super fun to ride since they are easy to control 🛵 (I was quite eggcited as it’s my first time riding a scooter) Since it was already late afternoon, we just played with some activities & chilled by the waters ⛱️ The weather was super cool and relaxing to just rest there~ Oh and also the sunset view was amazing gahhh 🌅😻

🥘 Dinner

Since it was Christmas Eve, they had a special Christmas buffet for us to enjoy 😋 (Note that there is only one restaurant in the resort) They offer a wide variety of cuisines like Western, Japanese, Indonesian etc - and everything was super yums !!! 🥹 (Ngl I even almost puked bc I ate sm that night) There was also a live performance where they sang English & Indonesian pop songs to serenade us for the night 🎶 Truly a wonderful experience 😚

🌌 Ending the Night

To end my night, I was fortunate enough to see a sky full of stars, a sight that’s rare to find in SG ✨ The sky was mesmerising and I ended up spending 30 minutes chilling outside and relaxing~ (The picture does not do the sky justice but it was really beautiful that night ☹️)

Safe to say day 1 of the trip was enjoyable and relaxing as I managed to throw all the stress from SG away 🗑️ This place is definitely a fun place for friends & families to enjoy and I will be posting day 2 of my experience soon too~ ☁️
