A bar with a hidden meaning in Bangkok Chinatown 🍸

We chanced upon this place as we were bar hopping around the city of Bangkok, and some locals told us about it! ☺️

Greeted with a sign “ Nothing is certain but death and tax” - we were definitely intrigued! 💀📊

‼️ We found out that : The bar “Tax” has taken a stand against the Thai government's shortcomings in providing financial assistance and unequal treatment of the bar sector during the pandemic, hence the Bar name and the interior design.

The walls are also adorned with a stylish and elegant paint job that exudes character.

Interestingly, the bar has cocktails that are vinegar themed and lots of other uniquely flavored drinks.

Psst fun fact: The menu states, “you can tax all our booze, but you cannot tax our vinegars.” 🫠
