Stress is a common emotion - everyone goes through stress from time to time. Stress is defined as a state of worry or mental tension caused by a difficult situation. Personally, I feel like I get easily stressed out and there are times where I feel like my emotions get the better of me and I act out based on those emotions. Sometimes a lot of stress can lead to breakdowns and I definitely have had my fair shares of breakdowns. As I have gotten older, I turned to journaling as a way to relieve stress. As I started to journal more about my feelings, the better I got to handling them and figuring out what to do.

Whenever you are going through a stressful situation, I definitely recommend journaling and using these questions to better understand your feelings and emotions, especially about stress so you can better process what is happening and know how to handle the situation in a positive and productive way.
