Dinner @ Caffe Fernet ~

this is now my food diary. i hv really bad short term memory so i guess this is a cute way for me to document my food memories! 🪩✨

ok so overall vibe of the restaurant is sooo so cute because there’s a really nice view of the river and mbs yada yada but no pic of it sorry will do better next time 🙏

1. steak tartare!

this is my absolute favourite to order wherever i go. if it’s on the menu, i’m trying it for sure. the tartare here was yum, but like i prefer when they do little bread or chips on the side so didn’t enjoy it as much 😪 too much cheese for my taste too ~

2. the pastas 🍝

the girlies and i weren’t very interested in the mains so we decided to split the pastas ❤️

as you can see the plating is boring as hell but tasted rly rly good! i’m no foodie or gourmet so i can’t describe it as well but like when it’s yummy it’s just yummy!!!! ok.

- the malfadine pasta ($29) was vegetarian so i had rly low expectations but it turned out to be my favourite :)

- rigatoni ($32) one was kinda like a carbonara bc it had the guanciale and parma ham stock but no cream sauce, was meh for me

- lumache ($32) was good according to my friends bc i literally can’t take any spice i apologise… i tried it but couldn’t really appreciate the flavour bc all i could feel was my tongue burning. it’s not rly spicy btw it’s just that i’m extremely weak and an embarrassment to my chinese ancestors 😓🫶

but yeah overall cute place, good food, and normal expensive prices that one would find at all the other singapore restaurants 😫
