Simple Apple Crisp 🍎

For the filling

3 large apples, chopped

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 tbsp vanilla extract

For the topping

6 tbsp all-purpose flour

6 tbsp old fashioned oats

4 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 tablespoons salted butter , softened

Increase measurements for desired amount.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop apples and add to a bowl. Add filling ingredients and mix. In a second bowl, combine toppings ingredients and mix. In an 8×8 pan, add apple mixture, and then coat apples with the topping mixture. Spread evenly. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes. Top with ice cream and/or sauce and serve.
