A Disappointing Experience with Kataoka Jewellery: Ignored and Let Down

As a long-time admirer of Kataoka Jewellery's stunning creations, particularly their engagement rings, I was thrilled to finally make a purchase from their collection.

However, my excitement was short-lived, as the necklace that arrived was a far cry from the beautiful piece I saw in the photos.

Despite my initial disappointment, I tried to make the best of it, hoping that the issue would resolve itself. Little did I know, this was only the beginning of a frustrating and disappointing experience with Kataoka Jewellery's customer service.

Not only did the necklace fail to match the online images, but it also caused an allergic reaction when I wore it.

My skin became red and broke out in pimples, a clear sign of a gold allergy. I reached out to their customer service team, hoping for a resolution or at least a response. But, to my dismay, my emails were completely ignored - twice.

To make matters worse, I had specifically chosen the "R" necklace because it appeared to be a capital letter R, a meaningful symbol for me.

However, what I received was a small case letter "r" that looked eerily similar to a "t". I was devastated. The photos on their website clearly showed a capital "R", or so I thought. I wasn't the only one who thought so - I asked friends and family, and they all agreed that the online images resembled a capital "R". It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and I was left feeling misled and deceived.

As a customer, it's disheartening to feel ignored and dismissed by a company, especially one that I had admired and supported. I thought I was backing a small business with a passion for craftsmanship, but it seems that's not the case. Kataoka Jewellery's lack of response and concern for their customers' satisfaction is appalling.

I'm left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and let down. My experience with Kataoka Jewellery has been a stark reminder that sometimes, even the most beautiful creations can come from a company that doesn't value its customers.

I'll never purchase from them again and would advise others to think twice before supporting a company that ignores its customers' concerns and misrepresents its products.

However I still love the necklace but I wish they’d improve on their customer service.
