14 oz self-rising flour
12 oz yogurt
Instructions
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the self-rising flour and yogurt. Stir until the mixture starts to come together.
Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if it's too dry, add a bit more yogurt.
Rest the Dough: Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.
Divide and Roll: After resting, divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball). Flatten each ball into a round shape with a rolling pin on a floured surface, aiming for a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
Cook the Parathas: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place one of the rolled-out dough pieces onto the hot skillet. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear. You can optionally brush each side with a little oil or butter while cooking for extra flavor.
Serve: Remove from the skillet and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining dough.
