Make your own date caramel at home.

I found dates at TJ Maxx and finally made date caramel. So good and creamy, 11/10 highly recommend.

Recipe:

10 pitted dates

3/4 cup oat milk

2 tsp of vanilla

2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (Optional)

A pinch of salt (I used Celtic)

I blended everything together for about 2 minutes until smooth and then simmered in my cast iron skillet until it reached a thicker consistency and the color darkened to the caramel brown pictured.
