Let’s go through 3 of my habits for good sleep hygiene (research-backed) 🤍

1.) Take a hot bath 🛁

Research shows that baths can improve your sleep by increasing your circulation and lowering your core body temperature which signals to your body that it's "sleepy time!"

I personally love spicing up my baths with things like bath bubbles, a bath bomb, bath salts, and grabbing a book or journal to relax while in the tub :)

2.) Disconnect from devices 📱

The blue light that your devices emit prevent your body from releasing melatonin (your sleepy time chemical!) It also helps reduce stress and anxiety that often gets created from "doom scrolling" or worrying about tomorrows emails and to-do list.

3.) Use a pillow spray 🛏️

There's nothing like some good aromatherapy before bed! Certain studies find that specific scents can help improve sleep such as: lavender, rose, and chamomile.
