✧ jb diaries: quiet & quirky thrift spot 🤳🏼

on my previous trip to jb i had passed by this specific banner while on a grab ride and i couldn't stop thinking about it! so this time i decided to look for it again and it turned out to be a hidden gem 👀

📍: kedai dobi shanghai — jalan tan hiok nee, next to bev c'afé

🧦: this thrift shop (?)—i say (?) because it's not registered on google so i couldn't find it on the interweb— is a quaint spot run by several young locals who greeted us as we walked in~

although they weren't stocked with much, the selection was pretty vast with graphic tees, printed dress shirts, knitwear, midi and maxi skirts, outerwear including windbreakers, sweaters, and a few vests, tote and hand bags, and even caps! the price range is reasonable considering the conversion rate but i think it's def more catered towards s'poreans or young locals as opposed to places like jalan jalan japan!

i didn't manage to find anything as we stopped by while waiting for our grab so i couldn't browse much but i would def go back again!
