Day in my life at the lake👙☀️

Since I graduated college in May and don’t start my new job until July, I’ve been spending my recent downtime at my family’s lake house on Barkley Lake in Kentucky. Some days, we explore the town and shop, go to restaurants for dinner, or visit the marinas for live music. Most days, however, look like this: spending almost all day on the boat relaxing, soaking up the sun, and eating great food. I’m so grateful for this home away from home and the time I get to spend here during the summers.

My mom gets all the credit for decorating the lake house! She had fun telling me where she got all of her decorations and kitchenware.

Dad gets credit for cooking the amazing chicken bacon BBQ sandwiches.

This family time is the best and I wouldn’t trade this downtime with them at the lake for the world!
