Lake Girlie Routine 🚤💦🏕️

At heart I am a city girl 🏙️ but growing up in canada, moments like this, being on the lake does feel like home. ❤️ 🇨🇦

This past weekend my family and I had a good friends wedding up at a place called Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. It’s so picturesque up here I love it!! I went to high-school on the island so I have lots of great memories coming

up to the lake with friends on the weekends!

Here are some tips to achieving the lake girlie lifestyle 🚤

✨pack light and low maintenance! This I’ll admit is not my strong suit. If I had it my way I’d pack 3 looks for a day, but when at the lake I’m low key linds 😋 bring cozy outfits, Jean shorts, hats, swim suits and of course SPF!

✨ wake up early when the lake is calm and you can catch the first water skiers of the day! They have a rule at the lake that boats can’t start till 9am. So I usually sip my coffee and wait for them to start.

✨ during the day hanging out on the dock tanning and dipping into the water is the best! The water was still a little chilly for me but I did it! 💦

✨ in the evenings we of course have happy hour on the deck with wine and cheese 🧀 and then watch the sunset which is always so perfect! 🌅
