stop thriting at r****h in JB 🛒🚫

i've seen countless recommendations on rebirth vintage in JB and finally visited this week... i've never been more sorely disappointed visiting a vintage store 😵‍💫🚫 BUT right next door is a gem that should be on your radar instead!

KEDAI DHOBY SHANGHAI VINTAGE STORE

• huge variety of tops & bottoms, including outerwear, button-ups, corduroy pants and the regular pick of vintage t-shirts ✔️

• they even have utility vests, bags & shoes!

• super cute trinkets & vintage homeware too! 🫖

• two floors — i love the upstairs part 🫶🏻

• way more curated with a wider variety of items and sizes 👕

• prices were still really affordable and reasonable despite the curation! 💰

i personally felt that this place had wayyyy more gems & a better selection of items than rebirth. rebirth is good for just your regular pick of t-shirts, and maybe i went on a bad day, but save your time and go to a big bundle store if that's what you're looking for. 🫣

you can also check out the other cafés in the area after for some post-retail therapy unwinding 🏕️
