Morning session breakdown 🌞

So, let’s start off with •I AM A MORNING PERSON•

Yasss, I enjoy waking up early (3:30 am) to get ready for the day. Something about going to the gym when no one is there, truly just makes me happy. This past year my goal was to read at least 25 books. While that can be hard to accomplish in an every day life - I thought why not bring a book and walk on the treadmill? BEST MORNING IDEA EVER. 😆

Let’s chat about self-help junkies. (ME)

Was I always a self-help junkie? Nope. But this past year it was my goal to at least read five self-help books. The first self-help book that I read was The Subtitle Art of Not Giving a F___ & let me tell you, I WAS HOOKED. If a book cannot capture my attention in the first three chapters it’s not for me. I don’t want it. This is where my self-help junkie self began.

Short version review on my two reads this past month:

• Always Squeezing Lemon by Kayla Logue

Kayla speaks about her personal life experience while also explaining her true struggles (real life stuff). One of my favorite parts about her journey is that during her process of writing, you could sign up for her newsletters called the “Lemon drops” she breaks down every inch of her book PLUS she also provided you with “ journal prompts” to help guide you and stay on track.

• Atomic Habits by James Clear

The past two years I’ve kept saying to myself I’m going to buy it.. but never did. Until after I read Always Squeezing Lemons. If you’re all about - habits, self improvement, and just simply becoming better YOU. Read. this. book. I have learned sooo much about how I can improve each day. Just by 1%. Just remember, if you’re still working and on your own journey.. you’re doing better than 80% of people that stop or give up.
