Let’s make my favorite chicken pesto pasta!
This meal has definitely become a staple for me (I’ve made it like 3 times this week lol). As a busy, and frankly BROKE, college student, this meal is amazing because it’s cheap, doesn’t take much time, and a lot of the items can be reused!
Here’s My Home Recipe:
Step 1: Slice 1 chicken breast in half and flatten it out a bit.
Step 2: Cover chicken in seasonings of your choice. (I use a poultry seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic salt.)
Step 3: Cook chicken. I prefer to use the air fryer and although I used the chicken setting on mine, it cooks at 360°F for ~20 minutes.
Step 4: While the chicken is cooking, boil and cook the pasta of your choice. (I used cavatappi for mine!)
Step 5: Add your pasta to a dish and mix in the pesto of your choice. (I use the Flora pesto, pictured on slide 5, and it is so so good and lasts a decent amount of time.)
Step 6: Cut up your chicken and add it on top.
This meal is genuinely so easy and quick, and even makes a few servings! I love how I can make it fit whatever I need, and it stores very well in the fridge.
If you give it a try please let me know what you think!
