Hernia Post Op day 4

Ok y’all.

Like the doctor said. Day 3-4 will be a big turn around and wow are they right.

I took oxytocin before bed and it has now been 12 hours and I have taken 1 aspirin.

Still sore but the pain is so subtle.

Still can’t move around a bunch and very thankful for my mom here watching my kids but not taking oxytocin so far today feels great and I am about to shower. First shower since Monday morning. Very excited.

I could have showered the day of (the holes in my stomach are glued or something) but the idea of washing my hair sounded so hard. Today, doable.

However, when I’m sad or in recovery mode, I fill up online shopping carts.. who wants to see what I want from pop flex?

Also, I got to sit in the car while we dropped off my 3 year old at her mini preschool. That was amazing.

TMI time. I haven’t pooped since Monday morning.. just got Starbucks hoping that moves my system along.
