i tried to read this book last summer but i thought it was boring so i gave up on it. i had nothing else to read a few days ago so i picked it back up and read it again (from the beginning). once you get into the main plot line its soo interesting. the world building in the beginning is a little slow and boring, but the world itself is super interesting and unique for a fantasy series. if you’re a fan of sarah j maas and her plot twists and cliffhangers, i think you’ll really enjoy this book. i loved the main character mare but throughout the story it was back and forth whether i liked the other characters. this made the story really good and unpredictable. i can’t wait to read the read of the series.
