There are thousands of restaurants in NYC, so when you're craving a certain dish at a certain restaurant, you know that it's good! These are some of my
current favorite restaurants I can't stop thinking about!
1. UVA Next Door - Located on the UES and delicious Italian food! They have a range of pastas and pizzas to choose from. Current favorite: their garganelli alla vodka with the added burrata on top (trust me, it's worth the extra $6). They have a ton of delicious starters as well! You can't go wrong with their Caesar salad & we tried the meatballs, which were so good.
I definitely recommend making a reservation as it was very busy!

Sat 5:00 pm-11:30 pm
Sun 5:00 pm-10:15 pm
2. Tacombi - This restaurant has expanded so much in the years that I've lived in the city & for good reason! This Mexican restaurant has delicious street style tacos that are full of flavor. I always start off with chips & guac (of course) and their elote (it's SO good). Tacos range from $4.98-6.98. I also cannot stop drooling over their watermelon juice (aqua de sandia). It's so good, that I usually order one to go as well!
Tacombi has 7 locations throughout Manhattan and you do not need a reservation. There are usually tables available for walk-ins.
Hours: Mon-Sun 11:00 am - 11:00 pm
3. La Grande Boucherie - I know I've talked about this restaurant previously, but it's so delicious I'm planning my next brunch date as we speak. I can't stop obsessing over their Croque Madame and how melty and delicious it is! I highly recommend checking out this specific location for brunch with the girls. You can't go wrong with mimosas & French food.
La Grande Boucherie - 145 W 53rd St
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 12 am
Sat-Sun 10 am- 12 am
4. Meme Mediterranean - This was a restaurant a friend and I stumbled into this past winter and I'm so happy we did! They have a ton of tapas to choose from and everything we got was so delicious. However, I cannot stop dreaming about their ricotta gnocchi! These are little pillows of happiness, I swear... if I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it might be this dish! The falafel, hummus, grilled cauliflower and meatballs are also very good! Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of their dishes.
The space is small so I recommend getting a reservation if possible. However, I have been able to walk-in and get a table.
Meme Mediterranean- 581 Hudson St
Hours: Mon-Fri 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Sat - Sun 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
5. Gelso & Grand - This Italian restaurant will forever be on my favorites list. I have gone multiple times this year already & just celebrated my birthday here last month! Gelso & Grand has delicious pastas & pizza to choose from. I always recommend grabbing a few starters: the spicy kale salad is something I dream about... and I never get excited over salad!
They usually have quite a few reservation spots open, so l'd recommend snagging one just in case. If you go early enough, you won't have a problem walking in, but it does tend to get busy later at night.
Gelso & Grand - 186 Grand St
Hours: Sun-Thurs 11:00 am- 11:00 pm
Fri-Sat 11:00 am-12:00 am
